Just cause 4 reddit
I like the side missions of Javi, Sargento, and Garland even if they are repetitive. So in the end they are more of a gimmick than an essential part of the game. Shame there is no use for them in anything beside freeroaming and Garland stunts.

The grapple mods are indeed great and an improvement over JC3. Dropped in weapons don't have upgrades over the normal vehicles, and your dropped in weapon will be very temporarily as you will throw it away soon enough. Speaking of which, supply/rebel drops are a lot less tempting to use because they take longer to arrive now and you can only drop in one object at once, and because they are less useful. It's a bit crowded though but that's more of a UI problem. First bit is a subjective opinion, but it is indeed nice that they brought colours back in the map menu. I love the new map menu, with the supply drops, and the grapple mods are great as they allow countless possibilities and creativity to occur.

Same as in Just Cause 3, although they removed the ability to use the wingsuit out of ragdoll and the ability to upgrade your crash impact so you don't die from a wingsuit crash with moderate speed. The grapple, wing suit, and parachute work great in tandem with each other. Granted, the utility vehicles are great fun for the sandbox. The handling is pretty bad, you can no longer consistently unlock nitros and jump for them, and unlocking certain vehicles is no longer a fun challenge. It's not worth exploring and because of its size, traveling over the island becomes a slog. They have the same kind of missions, same kind of challenges, just different visuals. Sure, there are 4 distinct biomes, but in terms of gameplay they aren't that different. It is filled with many copy pasted locations with nothing to do, and if there is something to do, you never get surprised by it because the map already shows all the icons and the activities are always the same. It has double the landmass of JC3's map and it takes ages to get around. While I'm not saying that it is worse than JC3's map (possibly a bit better), I would not call it great. I think it’s far far better than just cause 3Īssuming you are actually interested and don't just want attention (no offence here), I'll go over your points. Also yea they removed grenades and C4 which sucks but I don’t understand why this game gets so much hate. And yes just cause 4 removed base liberation system but honestly I think the strikes and operations are cool. Also there’s weather which is pretty cool, tornado is fun to play with. I mean that still happens in just cause 4 but now also frontline system.
The frontline system is also amazing as it feels like an actual war, while in just cause 3 there would just be random rebels fighting random DRM everywhere. The map is amazing, vehicles are great, The grapple, wing suit, and parachute work great in tandem with each other. I’m really hoping the DLCs have a good amount of content.I don’t see why anyone could dislike it. Some graphic issues but they are being ironed out in patches which will be nice. Still wish there was a Co-op feature and more spawnable props and vehicles. This game obviously has its flaws but it’s never game breaking atleast for console. The car handling isn’t even comparable to the previous games and actually allows you to drift and the sense of speed is exhilarating in the super cars. Yes the story is lacking but that’s not what these games are about, its really about creating your own fun and messing around with the physics engine in this massive map that is way more interesting than JC3s boring map. Lol a half hour of gametime is not enough to even attempt a review, I have well over 200 hours in JC4 and I enjoy it much more than JC3.
